maybe they're giving the site a major overhaul to make it actually look good. one can hope Then wouldnt "under constuction" be on the web page? Wouldnt they want us to know it was an overhaul?

It still stinks, three years in the making and they choose now, a month before lift off, to pull the site for an overhaul? When its now they need the most exposure?
Naah somethings wrong. Maybe they have folded, it happens.

possibly. most likely, if its a worst case scenario, they flat out don't have a distributor, no movie release, nobody gets to see it on march 30th.
i wouldn't think its an end to the movie though, just the theatrical release. probably it'll go straight to DVD and wind up in the bargain bin

Agreed.
If the actual company have folded or become bankrupt (maybe an investor has pulled out because of the stuff already released or they have seen stuff we havent) then there is no company to actualy pay for a DVD ditributer to market and distribute the DVD's so it may never be released, but I hope not because after all weve been through im am at least curious as to how it turns out. Its all speculation and I dont actualy believe it but it has to be said so all options are on the table then nobody gets any shocks later on.
Its been badly managed from the start, having a release date that looks like its not happenig is bad enough but then to pull the website is just barmy.

Yes I have to say that Tim Hines has never really inspired confidence at the best of times. If only we knew what was *really* going on rather than speculation. If he already had the release of Chrome under his belt, then I'm sure we'd all have a lot more confidence in him. At it is, he has yet to prove himself with anything and we fans are a tough audience to please. I guess all we can ever do as we have been doing all along is to wait and see...

I find it commendable though (I cant include myself in this) that you guys have stuck with Mr Hines through all of this with solid resolve showing an undying loyalty to Wells's masterpiece at any cost. I am a realist of the worst sort as I see things in a very cold and scientific way. But you guys did not right this movie off as I did with the theatrical trailer instead you rooted for Hines and Pendragon, cheering him on.
My point is you guys deserve more from Pendragon now, not in a week or in April when no movie appears but now, today.
Mr Hines
You owe these guys, with out them people like me would have crushed your film to dust.
Play fair Mr Hines they deserve more.
Thank you.

the motile,
I have to say that I'm a realist too and I like to at least see evidence of something followed by confirmation. Of course with Pendragon we have at least a little evidence and are now waiting for the confirmation which may never come. Watching Pendragon is like looking for something at the edge of the Universe. You can see there is evidence that something might be there, but it's difficult to see what it actually is! So you end up speculating as to what it *might* be until you are able to finally see what it is you were looking for, for real. Of course you may find that it was just an aberation and what you were looking at, isn't what you thought it was going to be, or just plain doesn't exist at all ;D
I always believe in giving someone time to prove themselves but it seems that time and patience is now running out for Pendragon and the day of reckoning is finally approaching.

What we need is a man/woman on the ground in greater Seattle to knock on a few doors and ask a few questions. Anyone lurking out there who's up it?
