Yep, I'm on the other side of the world (and a lot closer to PP's host) and I'm getting the same thing.
Wouldn't make too much of it (yet) - Could be the hosting service is shifting things around, too.
If it's still down later today (for you, it's 10pm here), I'll start to get concerned.

I think Pendragon are experiencing the 'Slashdot Effect' in that Chrome got a mention on www.aint-it-cool-news.com and as a result of all the interest, their web server has suffered a meltdown. May be good publicity for their WotW project.

Well, it's 13:49 in the UK and the site's still down, which worries me slightly. If it's being revamped, why can't they have a FrontPage saying "New site lauching soon"...Or has the site been taken down and there's so much new stuff, it's taking forever to upload it?
Does anyone know how to contact Charles to see if he can get any details off Timbo?

You might e-mail Charles. Haven't seen him here for a couple of days. Or I might just missed him.

it seems likley now that this is nothing more than a 'bandwidth' issue.
which is rather alarming in itself isnt it?
I could be wrong though...

Very weird, yes. When we where all waiting for the theatrical trailer, there must have been who knows how many peeps on their site, continiously refreshing the page. Guess all we can do, is hang on.

Definately - "Due to high volume of traffic". Both Pendragons site & WOTWMovieNews are hosted by Homestead...perhaps they've got a virus? Oh no, bacteria may have brought down WOTW!!

Not a good advertisment for "Homestead" is it?
All they do is host webpages and they cant even do that. The movie aint even out yet, imagine the traffic the site will get when its out and it cant even handle this mild traffic?
knarly dudes.

I was going to have Homestead host a site...hm. Not that I would ever have to worry about high traffic, but who knows?

I bet Jawad over on the SKGfansite gets heaps more traffic and that is never down, even if it did im sure a message explaing why would be put up, this is cheap and nasty dudes, on Homesteads part.

How sure are we that it's due to high traffic? Is it certain, or could it have been taken down/updated?

It says so when you try to load Pendragon's site. So I guess it is the case. Looks like Mr. Hines has to upgrade to another package...

This might not be anything but old news, but I hadn't checked the Pdragon site in a few days and when I went there last night was surprised to find that the Home page had been changed from the blue Pendragon Pictures box to WOTW logo of Mars & Earth that we've all seen. So maybe it is an update of the site?

Personally I think Homestead should be paying Hines for having them host his movie site. j/k Seriously though, someone needs to use the rest of Pendragon's budget to upgrade their account!
