Hello and I am making a War of the Worlds 110th anneversary composition book and need someon with artwork skills for my artwoork section. And I think it's you. I like your fist four martian designs, i'll use those. And I need 2 paintings per chapter please. Thank you (if you say yes:) I'm flattered. However, before I'd be willing commit to anything, there are a few things I'd need to clear up.. first of all, I am a bit concerned with you saying 2 pictures per chapter. If you mean for the original novel, as that would be 54 pictures! Is this the case? That would be a huge time commitment... one which seems a bit large to ask of one solo (non-professional) artist at this early of a stage...! Also, is this an official project, with all copyright issues etc. already cleared? And who will the publisher be? Sorry about the questions, but I would just like to know exactly what is going on... you can never be to careful with this type of thing. You can PM me on these matters if you'd prefer not to post the answers here. As for the game - that gets a bit more awkward. As it was done as a university project, I'm not sure if the uni owns part of he rights... Plus, it is not a WotW game, but rather just a game that I integrated a few small WotW elements and references into.... and nowhere near good enough for commercial sale. A little too much trouble to sort out.

Ok I'll lower it diwn to 1 per chapter. It's like a star wars "virtual edition". It's not gonna be in BOrders or anything but i'm gonna spread it all around the internet on my new website.

Nice. ;D I'll have to get working on some new and half-finished art pieces when I get back from my 2-week holiday (I'm leaving tomorrow ;D )... I haven't posted anything here for a while as life has been hectic recently and artwork has unfortunately ended up as a low priority. As I tend to sketch a lot on long plane journeys, I'll hopefully have something I can place here upon my arrival home! "Yay!"

I too, would like to wish you a great holiday/vacation! ;D In terms of art, I think I understand exactly what you mean. Always the desire, but hardly the time. Have the great time you deserve, Luperis! I'm sure any new works will be splendid!

Thank you everyone. It's cool to see all the nice messages you left for me upon returning. Well... I'm finally back and able to get on the internet again.... Here's my first picture to post up now I'm back (the only one I've got scanned in at the moment). It's another FM sketch. I'll post some more here soon.

Thanks, everyone. ;D Here's yet another FM. The original sketch... ...And the computerised version: I may have work on it a little more sometime - I think he deserves a little bit of shading, and maybe a colour-change (colour seems a a little dull?). Also, the blue 'stripes' may be a little too much - but I didn't want him to just be grey. ;D Hope you like it

Very nice, Luperis. But then we've come to *expect* that of you, hmmm? Terrible of us to take you for granted, isn't it? A technical question, if you don't mind: When converting from the original sketch to the computerized version, what is the process? Do you scan it in and then trace over it using a line-drawing tool, or what?
