I've seen a lot of interest in my artwork recently - both here and the forums on Jeff's site - so I've decided to make a thread for some of my more recent WotW artwork pieces. I'll update this thread as I have more artwork to add.
Comments/suggestions/criticism is welcome. (I'd like to know what you all think) ;D
The first piece I'll post here is a tripod that I've been working on. I have tried to keep it quite accurate to Wells' original descriptions (box-like heat ray, basket on back, etc. It has no background yet (sorry). It may get modified sometime in the near future... I'm not overly happy with the top part of the legs... but I thought I'd share it as it is.
Woe to you o' earth and sea, for the devil sends the beast with wrath, for he knows the time is short, let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, it's number is six hundred and sixty six
I actually didn't notice the grin until you've said it... ;D
Nice work, as ever!
"By ten o'clock the police organisation, and by midday even the railway organisations, were losing coherency, losing shape and efficiency, guttering, softening, running at last in that swift liquefaction of the social body."
Wow! thank you for all the great feedback... I wasn't expecting such a great response!
lol... about the 'grin'... it actually wasn't deliberate - I didn't even know it was there until it was pointed out either
Sorry about taking so long to post some more art... I've been thinking about transferring back to Britain for my studies (the Santa Cruz uni system, although good, doesn't seem to suit me very well), and have not had much free time to do art... I've spent so much of my 'free' time in advising offices this week .
Anyway... here is my next picture to add - a Flying Machine. ;D This is one of my more unusual designs... I came up with the idea a little while ago, but have only just had a chance to computerize it. Enjoy.
