Was his acting any good at all? Ive heard mixed reviews about his ability. From the trailers he didnt seem too bad, if he is I hope this doesnt end his career, that would be awful.

I thought Piana, Clay (Ogilvy) And Kaufmann (Curate) were all good. Piana needed a bit more directing than he got, but Clay and Kaufmann were dead on. Kaufmann apparently has another low-budget film called "Creature Form The Pink Lagoon" coming out soon. It might be interesting.

"Creature Form The Pink Lagoon"? Sounds like something that would have an "X" on the cover From the trailers I thought Anthony Piana showed a lot of promise as the narrator. Then again I haven't seen the film.

I likes him as the narrator... at the 1st few scenes i was getting worried by his high voice but after awile u get to like him and connect with him as the char. and by the end u feel like him lol. Kaufmann was good as well... Jack clay seemed like he over acted.

I feel sorry for the actors if it really is this bad. We we'rent the only people promised something big. If Piana is quite good, it's a shame his career will be forever tainted by this fiasco. I only hope he can salvage something from it.
As for Hines. He was warned by the fans and the industry, not to rush, not to make promises he couldn't keep and not to keep making excuses for delays, poor work and his lies being made public.
HIs 9/11 and Tsunami excuses are no longer valid, and forget about Chrome, we wont be seeing that anytime soon.

Anthony Piana is very good much of the time; extremely good on occasion. In the book the following scene occurs after excaping from the house:
"I faced the problem of the Martians and the fate of my wife. For the former I had no data; I could imagine a hundred things, and so, unhappily, I could for the latter. And suddenly that night became terrible. I found myself sitting up in bed, staring at the dark. I found myself praying that the Heat-Ray might have suddenly and painlessly struck her out of being. Since the night of my return from Leatherhead I had not prayed. I had uttered prayers, fetish prayers, had prayed as heathens mutter charms when I was in extremity; but now I prayed indeed, pleading steadfastly and sanely, face to face with the darkness of God."
This scene handled differently in the movie, and is superb. Piana is electrifying in this short scene!

One of the more interesting things about Pendragon's movie is the copyright date. If I remember correctly it says: Copyright Pendragon Pictures MMDCCLVIII
That date is 2758 AD
WTF??!!

So what was wrong with putting all that in just one post 'jackson', plus I think we have ALL got the idea you dont like the guy, so there's no need to keep going over it again and again.
Keep this on topic.

Hes just doing his job.
And from the Trailers Pianna looked okay. Id say his acting was on par with some that most people like, but definnly not Al Pachino........... or Kevin Bacon.
