the dvd released over one month later and £2 more expensive, plus our dvd is region free so americans could buy it and watch it on the us dvd players.
Once again this book is british and so is H.G, but some random Tim blokey says "Sod them, they get the poo end of the deal"
I bet the british dvd has less features, maybe even just the movie.
Not having a good at americans, just Tim and those who made these decisions.

We shouldn't judge the book by it's cover. The proof will be in the eating. Hey, this cliche book I bought has less pages than the US version!!!!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the documentary.
By the way, don't blame Mr. Hines. Blame Frank Wells and Paramount for blocking Mr. Hines' movie to be released outside the US.

I all sucks If bloody frank wells and paramount and SS used their money to make an adaptation of the novel all fans on this site will be trying to control their over excitment rather than being content

Yep. Documentary. You are quiet welcome to contact Paramount and Frank Wells about getting the version you want, theredweed .. just don't expect to get very far. People have got upset over that very thing here many times and it has achieved nothing.

At least it was no where near as bad as the messages being posted on IMDB about two years ago when the SS movie was anouched. Some people played with the idea of Arnold Terminator Sc (how do you spell it) or may be Sly Stallone and they wanted it to be one guys fight against the invaders. One person said they should have a martian and human that makes friends.
Could be a lot worse. I love the sound of the pendragon version
gnorn cheers for hanging me i needed my neck sorting out

Hehe, IMDB boards = bad... I'm glad you now can't read them anymore unless you are a member. Saves a lot of headaces over reading all the dumb remarks. What confused me the most of those boards, was the amount of time and effort people spent on negative post on Mr. Hines movie. It was like they made it their live's goal to complain about it. Not to mention all the so-called people who are in the movie bussiness... (by the way, I'm King of a small country in Eastern Europe... and no... I'm not crazy... Wibble!...)

That was a trick I learnt while on campaign in the Sudan. But don't let me catch you trying that one, Horsell, or I'll have you shot, all right? Dismissed.

I spent ages signing up to tell them all to get lost to get removed for swearing, yeah me! I was a member for a very brief time. There was a famous thread about how stupid the ending was. It didn't matter how credible your arguments were, he just had a habit of repackaging what you posted and sent it right back at you. I left as it really gets tiresome talking to myself and I wasn't about to give up my day job to devote my life fulltime to this thread. It convinced me that even I have better things to do with my life! I had a look at his list of comments for other movies and he was negative about almost all of them. Makes me wonder why he was there as he obviously doesn't enjoy watching movies! ;D

There are a lot of jokes about how every Taxi Cab Driver in Los Angeles is working on a screenplay. There is a great take off on that in "Shakespeare In Love" where Shakespeare gets into a small boat for hire on the Thames to be rowed to his destination..it was the Elizabethan London equivilent of a Taxi..and the Boatman had a play he wanted Shakespeare to look at... As for the Pendragon film, I have bought, it watched it, an unless you are in the mood for some laughs at really bad acting and SFX, you Brits are not missing much, I assure you.
