Main body detailsHere I have just glued the hood section to the main body... ...and here it is after filling, sanding and the addition of details such as the antennae, and the ribbed section. The legs will be back on again soon, I removed them during painting.

Poyks, if your Handling Machine looks anything as good as your Fighting Machine (which I'm sure it will), it's going to look absolutely amazing. The detail & care you've taken over this is extraordinary - true master pieces & I'm sure that Jeff & Mr Trim would be exceedingly pleased & proud

Thank you guys, that means a lot. :-) I've been giving it some thought, and for my next project I have the urge to build a large model of one of Peter Fussey's tripods.

A Fussey Tripod? Nice idea.. I'm sure he'd be pleased to see that too.

Peter did show people how to build his version over on Lee's site last year. I will have to try and find the link. However, he has recently showed in his ways how to build the Trim/Wayne Fighting Machine. www.eveofthewar.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1243

That's ace, thanks H_C. I've just in the last half hour found the blueprints for Peter's design.

The HM is looking great... love the antennae. And fussey tripod would be cool... but, out of interest, how large is 'large' going to be?

For some reason I do not like the rear leg of the Fussey Tripod...
