Hey Jazzy... Long time repliing to this one... Well I suppose that Sci-Fi Horror as it's place... But it still not something I am really that into. When I was younger I use to read a lot of the R.L. Stine Goosebump books which are better classified as Sci-fi then horror or sci-fi horror. I do have to amit actually that Stephen king, my favourite author although tight cast as a horror written also dabbles with the sci-fi genre. In some of his novels/movies. I can live with that!
B.B "Her clothes are blacker than the blackest cloth...And her face is whiter than the snows of Hoth". LOL when the invent a blacker black I will be there White skin... I think that was my irish back ground... Y'all need to hear *Black No.1 * Type O Negative!
Laughing Out Loud, Jazzy I am not sure that I would call that flirting... I hope he doesn't plan on seducing Filicity that way...
Hell-o Nerfherder! Hell-come to the board... Doh I don't frequent here a lot... Yay for your *Gothic* taste... I know all too well about people looking at thou funny... People have NO taste! That's why I am not a people!
Welcome... I for one shall not look at you funny... If for no other reason then because I only have eyes for one! The one we know and love as God aka Cap'n Bayne! I love you Hunny!

I'm Neil Simmons, a.k.a. Nelly. I'm 29 and from Stevenage, Hertfordshire. I'm married to Clair and have a little boy of 14 months, James.
I works at North Herts College in the Employment Training department and I am currently studying towards a qualification for lecturing/training.
At the moment, I am re-reading WOTW for the Nth time as I reckon that with classics like this, you can never tire of them - the missus thinks I'm odd for re-reading anything!!
I first heard the Jaff Wayne WOTW when I was a kid, and hated it - it used to give me nightmares!!!! LOL. I can now appreciate it as the classic "(p)opera" that it is.

Im overdue in this department, but better late than never.
A bit about me - My name is Jonathan (call me John), 33, I come from the Midlands (jesus its like auditioning for BLIND DATE this). I am a avid collector of memorabilia associated with the Jeff Wayne album (thats how I got to know Jeff). I play keyboards and synthesizers (during my spare time when Im not doing other things) with many times fouling up Jeffs album with my own re-working of it. I work for a company that specialises in Titanic memorabilia. I organise Titanic events up and down the UK. I have also been a Titanic historian for some 20 years and my research and archeive have been included in books, magazines and documentarys. I have also worked on building not only ocean liner models but also Sci-Fi. Part of my Titanic collection includes what has been called the "largest selection" of items to do with the 1980 movie "Raise The Titanic!" and in 2002 I built the worlds only fully authentic model of the Titanic as she is seen in "Raise The Titanic!" which has won many awards and been featured in many shows and exhibitions.
In short, I dont do much.

Oh well, 'spose I should do the same as well. The name is Pasky Maina (and don't start, 'cos I've heard all of them old "piss-take" nicknames before!) Obviously, due to my comments and speed of posting stuff for you to look at you know I'm a local! ("I'm a local, and this is a local shop for local people........." ) I 'spose I'm one of the few people on here then that probably live in Woking itself then, or am I? Lived here since I was 6 months old, parents moved down from Clapham, London way way back in the early 50's! I'm an "old fart" compared to some of you lot then, as I've reached the "ripe(?) old age" of 47. I live in Westfield but I used to live not far from Maybury Hill actually, and also I used to frequent the College Arms pub and also the Maybury Inn on many occassions, as well as a few others on the area! No "Spotted Dog" pub though. Wells changed the name of a pub (allegedly after he had an arguement with the landlord, and proceeded to kill him off in the book!!) Not sure as to the pubs real name as most still exist, but no "Spotted Dog" though. Any ideas as to what pub it was then, those of you who live local that is? When I was a lot younger, my bruvs and I used to take the dogs for long walks all over the place and quite a lot of time was spent walking them over at Horselll Common and the sandpits, as well as over to Send and Ripley and over to Newark Priory. I've lived and worked locally all my life, I do like to travel hence the nickname "Pondhopper", I've got relatives in the USA as well as elsewhere. I've read HG Wells stuff for years now, my favourite has to be "War of the Worlds", The Time Machine" as well as "The Invisible Man"........ Ain't I the lucky one then! I'm also a footy fan...... A Gooner and I go to home and away games, no armchair fan here, unlikesome footyclub fans I know! ;D Can't play anymore as I stuffed my knee up bigtime so I just watch now! That's enuff 'bout me then..... so who's next then?
