Anyone else got this? Had mine from about 1980 and its one of the "serious" board games in that its for the mature stratigist rather than kiddie. With a map of southern England, the Martian player has to decide where his 10 cylinders will land before the game then try to land them, unload the Tripods and cause as much destruction while the human player moves his troops and artillery to combat them. Great fun and incredibly true to the book - even down to the Martian being allowed Flying Machines in the last couple of turns - dunno how rare it is these days?

I bought this on ebay a couple years ago. I read the rules, but never played actually. I had to throw it away when I dug it out of my basement and it was covered in black mold. lol.
