Yes, but in an entirely differant scene. But some have said its a cylinder hitting the bridge or landing in the water then taking out the bridge. Because its a bridge does not mean to say its over any water.

Looks like the siluete of Cruise. The other 2 could be ducking, and also you do not actually see the car take off with them in, u just see a cut shot of the Bayonne bridge getting f***ed.

Hello, I’m starting to get really frustrated with this, but for some unknown reason I can’t view the clip from any of the links you kind people have posted. Has the clip been removed ? If not could someone please show me a link.
Cheers ;D

Looking at the footage of the bridge being hammered ,there definitely looks as if theres something very large in the background. on the other hand it might only be smoke?? where can i see this footage on the net??

It has to be some of the best cg work I've ever seen. It looks so real. I'm not sure if there's a cylinder...or if it's a heatray...but...big explosions.

i wish i would have caught this when the links weren't dead. oh well, they'll probably post them again sunday. that animated gif looks pretty cool though. spielberg is promising us some spectacular special effects, it seems. i can only lament that we're not seeing them in the original victorian setting. but, as i've stated previously somewhere else on these forums, i'm an effects w_hore, so i'll happily go see the spielberg movie... with a bag of popcorn in one hand, and a copy of the original novel in the other
