www.asylum-entertainment.com/images/drwho/prev1image2lg.jpgThe site is locked out or something but I found these by typing in Doctor Who Game on Google Image Search in inverted commas, I think. I know hardly anything about the master but that's him isn't it? Any way the other pics from that site have Daleks etc... --- So in short, are there any good Dr Who games out there or in progress? The Last Dalek was great but I wouldn't go back to it in a hurry. - And what about board games? I have one called, I think, the Battle for the Universe...

Kryss, that image is from a Doctor Who PC game called 'Destiny of the Doctors' that was released back in 1997. It does indeed feature Anthony Ainley as The Master and his cut scenes are the best point about it. The game is really dated now, it can be found occasionally on e-Bay but I really wouldn't bother unless you are a Doctor Who completist.
One plays a peculiar energy lifeform called Graak trapped in the TARDIS and one has to rescue the various incarnations of The Doctor by solving puzzles in the various rooms at the same time as being stalked by various classic villains. The Master pops up occasionally to insult you and set particularly fiendish problems. Unfortunately the graphics are quite poor by todays standards and I'm sure you would get bored within an hour or so.
I believe there was a Doctor Who game being developed for the Playstation to tie in with the new series but I'm sure I read somewhere that it has been cancelled. Pity, a Doctor Who game could be great if developed by the right people.

[glow=purple,2,300]I liked the old point & Click, 7th Guest, Grim Fandango etc. - but the ultimate was the Myst series.
Now, if someone could combine Myst III with WOTW...[/glow]

Yeah Zoe, I must've posted mine as you were typing yours. Discworld was good, as was Discworld 2. Discworld Noir was supposed to be good as well but I didn't get round to that one.

I've been trying to convince Battlefield 1942 modders to make a dalek mod for the game, but, being Americans, most people didn't know what a dalek was. I've not had much positive feedback yet, though. I don't think there are any British people making mods for 1942, otherwise a Dr Who mod whould have been an obvious choice, considering just how many different mods set in different time periods there are for the game. I intend to learn how to do it myself; I know that I can get pre-made 3D dalek models and other stuff online, I've already downloaded some, and I've got the Mode Development Toolkit, but I still need 3D Studio Max, and that's expensive, so I can't do much 'til I have that.
