This may have been mentioned before but the invasion takes place over a 10 to 15 day period, so where is Pianas stubble?
I showed my mate the rest of the film last night and at the end he asked how long the attack took place and I said over 10 to 15 days from what I remembered.
Then he pointed out that Piana didn't have a dot of stubble on him.
WTF!!!! ;D

Yep, that's one of the biggest mistakes in the movie if you ask me :-)

Rumour has it, the moustache was a bit of a prima-donna and refused to have it's performance upstaged by working alongside other facial hair. It's demands were a constant drain on the films budget and led to it's eventual replacement with a smaller, more affordable stand in.
