Because not all questions are going to be answered by Timbo, I have started this thread so people can share what they have asked.
Please keep it clean people.
Here are the ones I asked:
1. Why was a lot of the Artilleryman proposal scene - when he meets the writer again near the end of the film - cut out of the movie?
2. Why add simple effects like fire, blood and the Red weed after the movie with computer graphics? Surely they would have looked better done on set, live, to give your actors something to visualise and react to.
3. Why did the writer confront the Artilleryman in such a ferocious manner when he enters his garden? As a gentleman of that time he would not have done that. Nor was it in the book.
4. Why did you cut the part out of your film when the man gets run over by the horse and cart - in the 'Exodus from London' chapter of the book. The man breaks his back, but still grasps at his money, and bites the brother when he tries to help. Why did you just have him killed? Surely it would have had more impact H. G. Wells' way.

I'm sure that you've had time to absorb all the comments, good and bad, that life-long fans of WOTW have been making in movie forums. Not to put too fine a point on it, most of us believe that this film was unfinished and rushed out of post-production in order to cash in on the interest being generated by the new Paramount version.
1. Do you stand behind the decision to release this picture in it's current state?
2. What is your justification for doing so?
3. Do you have plans to re-edit or otherwise polish up this film?

My questions are almost the same except ... 1. Was the ending always indended for you to make it that short? A true disturbing ending would of done wonders with fans. 2. Is there a chance of a re-release extended version with "Everything" from the book in it? and with new sfx and cgi? 3. Was this to pyche us out? for somthing really big you have coming soon?. 4. And what was the true answer to the copyright joke... (c)2753? or something. thats all i have at the moment Mr. Hines.
