Heres a review of the special features thanks to Artillerymanrunning of eotw forum.
"Okay. I just watched the "bonus material" so here's a quick review...
The "bonus material" consists of:
a. Text biography of H.G. Wells b. A trailer. Unfoirtunately, it's the trailer that was released several months ago, with the singing woman at the start etc. etc. c. Gallery. The images in the gallery (a slideshow-type presentation) are the same as the gallery on Pendragon's website. They also threw in two of their posters (the cover of the DVD, and the poster that came out back in January, I think, of the Narrator on his his chaise with what appears to be the leg of a Fighting Machine).
The music on the main menu is dramatic and decent, and the transitions from menu to menu are okay.
The image on the DVD cover is the same as what was placed on Amazon.com (Earth and Mars below, Fighting Machines over London above).
I don't have the ability to capture images from the movie. However I might be able to do this on Monday evening.
Anthony, I will send you my review later tonight. "

I love this, called 5 different places around my town here (not just Wal-Mart) and none have even heard of PP's version. They all think I'm talking about the Pal version or the Cruise version... *sigh* Looks like I may have to go hunting in the Wal-Marts up here.

women getting raped by martians I don't think thats quite right is it. I'm not too keen on these caps. But, as we've seen, these scenes tend to work better in motion.

Hmmmmm, Here's my take on the screencaps. 1. Tony, I see what you mean by the Thunderchild rendering looks bad (Nice looking ship though). the perspective in that shot's completely off, and the ships just look like they were plopped in the water haphazardly. 2. The "electro-bondage" scene definitely looks CGI rendered, the girl in that shot looks like she's a CGI as well Looks like something in a weird goth video game. 3. the martian shot looks very much like this one from Bayne's site. 4. Not sure what to make of that shot, those skeletons look like they're in the middle of a musical number from a bad Xena episode, lol. Still, it's more than I ever expected to see from PP, I'll reserve final judgement until I've watched the DVD myself. Looks to be a nice big helping of cheese though, maybe I should buy a nice bottle of red wine before watching it Regards, Dan M.

Although mayhaps for the first viewing, we may need something a bit stronger than wine... Lagavulin anyone?
