...its the last day of April. Has it appeared in ANY theatres? It still says " THEATRICAL RELEASE DATE: Late April, 2005", but of course I am confident that it will be replaced today with something else of course! Probably the usual feeble excuse will be posted. "Due to increased costs associated with higher gas prices in the USA we have had to postpone the release until end of May"

I think its a discrace the way weve been lied too and had our hopes dashed time and time again by pendragon.Yes i can understand the frustration that they must be feeling with paramount interfering but never the less they must read these boards and the can tell haw much were looking forward to seeing this yet they seem to be pulling dates out of the air for release and then telling us with days to go that were no seeing it.I wouldnt mind if the site was updated more often to put us in the picture. They dont answer e mails yet i sent one to asylem and they replied the next day.Theres more pucs available from asylem.A trailer due from asylem any day now which i bet dont include unfinished footage.I know some people will be thinking why dont you just wait and see what happens ,but ive been waiting about 25 years to see a definitive version so it does get annoying to say the least. And for all my faulting pendragon it still the version that i would watch first if i got my hands on them all the same time. The stories about the film anly existing as a couple of reels ,although i dont think that is true i can see where people are coming from as for a film that we are told is 3 hours weve seen probley less than 1 min of footage and about 20 pics, somethings not right. Before anyone starts saying CLOSE THREAD i only do this in the hope that pendragon will read it and do something about it,i agree that no one should be screaming insults to pendragon but we should be allowed to say valid points because if we dont some might aswell delete the whole pendragon thread cause theres nothing else to talk about right now. Please pendragon give a hint that something is gona happen soon. heres hopeing mike(from wales)

I like the way Uuulllaaa put that. I'm looking forward to all the versions, but it's Pendragon's I'd watch first, if given the choice. So I feel the same frustration. Here it is, so late April that it's almost early May, and no news from Pendragon.
I'm disappointed.
But one thing has changed: This time around, the site wasn't updated. Something's different than it was a month ago. Before, Pendragon felt the need to provide an update, no matter how thin the reason. Unless the site is being updated as I type this, they no longer feel that need. Any serious speculation as to why?

I'm affraid last month's update was the last thing to be heard from Mr. Hines regarding WotW (allthough I don't hope so)... Let's hope he does come with a new message in the near future, announcing the DVD (I know it's on that one website, but it hasn't been comfrimed).

I got their last one at 4:30 am local time. If it would be around the same time, that would be in approx 6 hours. But i'm not gonna wait for that, have to work again tomorrow. I'll see if anything has been posted in the morning.

It is a shame that we've heard nothing and the deadline's almost up. Tim Hines seems not have learned over the last few months about realistic projections or simply informing and courting his core audience.
In a kind of twisted way, I'm hoping that his mouth is closed due to legal reasons and he cannot disclose more until these are resolved, but I honestly doubt that is the case.
Let's hope for good news soon as I really do want this movie to be released and be a good interpretation of the book- let's also hope that if the real reason is because finishing and polishing the movie is taking longer, the extra time taken will pay off.
I remain hopeful, but increasingly skeptical.....

Thanks for the heads up, Anthony.
Well, since it doesn't talk about a theatrical release anymore, it could mean it's gonna be a straight to DVD thing afterall. Well, as long as I get a change to see it...

While I have no doubt that Jeff Waynes movie is going to be awesome and one I'll definately be watching, it's still not going to be quite the same as live action for me.
