There's nothing new at this website, but it's very refreshing to read some positive things about Pendragon's movie. So many have given in to pessimism; it's nice to find more evidence that I'm not the only one still hoping for a good movie from Pendragon. www.moviesonline.ca/film1247.htm

yeah all well and good, but it is old news posted in an era of wishfull enlightened thinking , you know the good old days when information was passed to fans eager to see the production, were films were actually made and released on time in all cinemas so EVERYBODY could pay £5 to go and see it instead of trawling it out onto dvd so we have to pay 20 quid for it and feeling gutted cos we have paid that amount for a unknown quality film (cos of the lack of info). but I am not bitter...really

Unless I'm missing something, it's just a very basic description of the movie and nothing more. It's very nondescript ie neither positive or negative!
Tomahawk, I wouldn't bet on the DVD either until you actually see it for sale! Even then it would only be when it was in my sweaty mitts before I'd believe it existed at this point. I'd then need to play the DVD and see the movie before I'd even believe it was real and not a blank DVD-R ;D I'm that skeptical at this point in time....

"Unless I'm missing something, it's just a very basic description of the movie and nothing more." Exactly. Just a boiler plate description. Anybody who takes this for a good sign is really clutching at straws. How anybody could read this as somebody still expectng a good movie is beyond me. Hint folks: It better to admit you have been taken for a ride early on; the longer you wait the sillier you appear when it becomes obvious.

In fact a lot of you guys supported Hines and Pendragon, even during very difficult times when the mega dire 'trailer' was released, even going as far as to make up excuses for them "its not finished" "they are pre vis shots" etc, I take my hat off to you for your loyalty. Its seems to me Hines has shat on you guys from a great hight by putting you guys completely in the dark. Well Hines doesnt need you guys anymore, his DVD will sell in garages and corner shops all over Seattle and sellected $1 dollar stores accross America, so he doesnt need the fans, Amazon may not even host the DVD, it may not be possible to 'order' this tripe from anywhere, any 'fan' wanting it that bad may have to travel to the states to buy it. Hines's DVD will sell because it has the same title as Spilebergs film and that I think was the plan all along, sell it on SS's coat tails, thats the prime selling power of the DVD distributer after all is to do exactly that, they did the same with master and commander when they stuck russel crowes gob on a cheap rubbish movie he was in for a few seconds and sold it next to master and commander in cheepo stores. It doesnt matter how hard you cross your fingers this film is going to be so bad and dire that even the hard core self blinded fans may not make it through to the end. But like I said at the start I take my hat off to the loyalty shown by some for this movie, most have now seen the light but some just wont give it up but now its time to stop, smell the coffee and face up to it, this aint the film you thought you were going to get, not by a long long way.

I'd cry with joy if that happened, I just can't see it, though.
Hines is the new Ed Wood.

In an alternate universe somewhere on the outer reaches of wherever....
Wouldn't it be funny if everyone went to see the Spielberg movie only to find it was actually Tim Hines movie that was shown and that Spielberg was collaborating with Hines all along to throw everyone off! The real special effects being done by Spielberg while the trailers we were shown from Pendragon and Spielbergs own movie were just created as part of the biggest publicity stunt ever devised to fool the press and public alike.
It's ok I'll wake up now.... ;D

[Glow=purple,2,300]Crivens! Does that mean in a few years time we'll get...
Tim Burton presents: Tim Hines, starring Johnny Depp as the dreamer whose dreams remained dreams, a visionary whose visions remain unenvisioned...[/glow]

"Hines is the new Ed Wood. " The extravagant promises Hines made about his WOTW, and then the wretched reality of what we have seen so far, really do remind me of Johnny Depp as Ed Wood. BTW, if somebody gave me A Hundred Million bucks to film a Period WOTW, I would give serious consideration to Johnny Depp for the lead. In "From Hell" and "Finding Neverland" he showed he can do a Victorian era British role flawlessly. He would be good casting, and a box office draw. If you think I am crazy, just watch Depp in those films and see what I mean.

Johnny Depp is indeed a great actor, and I've enjoyed him in many roles from "Ed Wood" to "Edward Scissorhands" to "Benny and Joon" to "The Ninth Gate".
Yeah he'd be great in just about any movie, including any period production.
As for your assessment of Timothy Hines: Have you actually seen "Bug Wars" or any other Hines production, or are you just parroting the poisonous remarks of the Anti-Hines Brigade?

Yet again your mistaking the word "truth" for the word "poison", in your genius you just proved the point perfectly, NO we havnt seen anything from Pendragon and niether have you, considering they have made multiple films since the early ninetys and all have never seen the light of day, thats a pretty solid case on them being just awful at making films which would make Hines a sub Ed Wood character.

"or are you just parroting the poisonous remarks of the Anti-Hines Brigade? " Nope, I just am just looking at the facts about his film and it does not look good. Why do you have such blind faith in the man when it is apparent he is either lying or living in another reality" Time to take off the blinders. Hines is a hack director. That he has not gotten a real release for ANY of this films should tell you something.

Sigh thats a chant I'm tired of hearing too :/ I'm looking forward to the film, but my support for Pendragon now is only reserved for if and when the film is released.
