[glow=purple,2,300]After seeing the 'History of JWs WOTW' video on his website, the In Development clips made me more desparate to see the film!
Now, I know we want to see it ASAP, and we've heard talk of a late 2007/early 2008 release. I think it would be nice if it was given a June 2008 release, to mark the 30th anniversary of the album.
What does everyone else think? It gives a good timeframe to polish the movie, mark it's 30th birthday, and give us a specific date to count down to.[/glow]

HTT, you make a good point. Until then I have not really thought of it that way. A 30th Anniversary would be a fantastic idea for the films release and as you point out, 30 years to the very month of its original release, fine tuning and so on.

[glow=Purple,2,300]Actually, 2008 is a significant date for WOTW. Not only is it the 30th anniversary of the album, is it:
# the 55th anniversary of the Geprge Pal movie # the 70th anniversary of Orson Welles broadcast # the 100th anniversary of the martian cylinder exploding over the Siberian Tunguska forest # the 110th anniversary of the novel
...and for the hobbits amongst us, it's the eleventy-first birthday of the Pierson serialisation![/glow]
