Hi and welcome
Speilbergs movie does seem likely to feature the Red Weed. A few pics surfaced just before Christmas, not too sure if there 1005 cosha as there has been mixed views about them. With regards to Pendragon Pictures version as its claimed to be a direct telling of the book its certain to feature the Red Weed and the Black Smoke, also these will most certainly be featured in Jeff Waynes version.

well seeing as theres not one but TWO songs dedicated to the red weed in the musical it would be in there. but that might just be my crazy logic...

Actually there is only one song about the Red Weed, it's just been made into a two part section for the story line

As Part Two is the same style as Part One, only being that the orchestration is cut down and the synth chords are still the same, its still only one track - the music to the Red Weed is not differed, just broken by the 'Spirit Of Man' track.
