As a side line, what about Tony Blair. I could just see him on screen grinning as the Martians begin their attack. . . This Martian attack could only happen during a Labour goverment.
Or George Bush
'Fellow Americans, no one would have beleived that another invasion caused not by us causing humans affairs to be watched from the timeless worlds of space. No one could have dreamed we were being scrutinised just as our fellow CIA officials do to everyday people across this globe. And yet, across the golf of space, minds inmeasurably not as smart or clever or devious as I am, regarded this Earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drews up plans to take over the White House'

O.k O.k Burtons dead and yes there is loads of audio material that was never used but i personally would like to hear mabye patrick Stewert or even Robert Lewellyn or even Barry Morse (if he's not dead aswell) do the voice over for the journalist. And for the artillary man mabye we could have Colin Farell or Sean Bean. It could also do with a change for beth have mabye Sheila Kelly. You may not agree with me but thats just what i would like i don't know about the rest of You ;D
