Hi my friends. Because of the show Jericho, and because of the thread, that we talked about Nuclear war. I took the decision to put another prespective to my book. I Did research for 2 days now, on internet, and in 2 books that i have here. The research is far from over, but to my surprise, in writing notes, i started like that without any intention, a text mixing the tripods, with the nuclear perspective, and it was very easy to do. The 100 pages already written, will be still good, but i will had the nuclear side of it in the story, i thought about that for a few days, and i was wondering how i can mixed the two projects, and this afternoon it happend just like that. So the project is going very well, i will posts some resume of it soon. I can tell you guys i am happy about it. For now because of that, i have about 130 pages done, so far, but as of 2 days ago, i will put more time into it, i am very exited about this project more and more. ok guys i did work on the book, the project is still on. With the two twist i had, i really think it will be very good. let me the time to do a resume of the new things, that you can anderstand. I am gonna tell you about the new. ideas.

first, it wont be a sequel of spielberg movie, in a sense, that the tripods, wont be the same, the aliens wont be the same either. Their heat ray will cut a person in two, instead of vaporise it. Sometimes it is gonna miss, and it could be a agonising death. The aliens did'nt want humains, to be wasted, they needed them for their harvest. Also, i have decided to take the old model of aliens arriving on earth, it will be as, the movie 1953, and the book of H.G. wells, they are gonna come from the sky, they will have cylinders, But all of that story is happening in our modern world. All I have written so far, is still good, for the book, but i am changing them to match with the new ideas.

I have decided to had nuclear, attacks, on the top of the tripods attacks. This is why aliens, need the humains corps, where they are, because a lot will die, with nuclear attack. Nuclear, was a good way for them to clean, the land, all the lands, in south america, and russia, every places within a certain amount of miles from the equator. Perfect for them for the red weed, and their eggs. Nuclear radiations, dont touch them. at least for not now. I will see about it later.

Already i started a chapiter about the nuclear attack, It is well explained, i did research for that. It is not a pretty picture, as you would imagine. The description of the attack is vivid. I wanted to had the nuclear subject, because already wotw is really SOMETHING, so imagine, with the nuclear dimension. I also talked, about these Tripods, that where on the news,before the nuclear blast, talking about the lights in the sky, and big machines on tree legs. So some peoples before dying, (they where further from the bomb). Asked themselves, Is the nuclear bomb, had something to do with the tripods, and lights in the sky, on the news, is it them that ignited them, or us??

In all my beginnings, i Had the, humain technology they discovered, in the tripod, in a way that it worked very well with the text i already had. As for the Nuclear, the same. So is this a new story?? No. only that it is not related to the movie at all, it is another dimentions, of the story of the wotw. So the reconstruction is still on, the islands like hawai, same, all northen citys destroyed by tripods, are still on, all the personage i had are still there. The story is the same.

So this was to explain, the new dimension i put to the story.
I hope you will anderstand, what i wrote to you. Dont be shy to tell me, if you dont anderstand, dont be shy, to ask questions. It will help me to focus or refocus, to the upcoming story, of mine WOTW my way.

I like your idea of using your own version of the aliens in the story - it'll be cool to hear your take on what the machines/martians look like and how they behave.
The nuclear attack idea sounds interesting too - you've obviously put a lot of thought into it, and it'll be interesting to see how you've worked it into your story.

The Ultimate war of our worlds.

The reconstruction, is on going, i will finish that part soon, Not everything will be completed, when, at the same time, something is brewing, coming from a shadow, Mondial Government. When they take power by force we will be about 1 year after, the first invasion by the tripods. And Nuclear attack by them.

This government coming out of the shadow, will be very, controlling, violent with the populations, no more free will, peoples will be arrested, tortured, and or put in labor camps.

some peoples, will find a way to prepair, for fighting for their freedom.
After a lot of misery, lot's of fightings, war, violence, The peoples will suceed, and with time, things are gonna get better, i will write about this in about 100 pages, surely more, it could go further, i will see this, when i am there.

After all this, of course, the Aliens will come back. But first things first. Finish the reconstruction, and then the war for freedom.

Hi everybody, i didn't want to make a new thread just for this, i am leaving for at least 5 days, so, i juste wanted you to know, that i wont post, i am Leaving for Quebec city tomorrow morning, to see family.


As for the book about the Nuclear Blasts, one in Houston, one in Pheonix, these two towns, surviving peoples will have their story, same as the towns that where invaded by tripods. I did'nt want the story to be about to much places at the same time, sor for Hongkong i had something in mind, that will not request to create more characters there. They will be attack by nuclear bomb, to.

As for the New world order government, it is shaping up nicely.

In a few words, SCARY, A LOT OF ACTION, GRUEWSOME, HORRIFIC. AND MORE my friends of WOTW on line.
