Heres a link to my short version of war of the worlds, this was made some years ago now, when I first picked up a copy of 3Dsmax, so it's dodgy in places, but still fun to watch. Its in WMV format and should only take 5 mins to load up on broadband connection. www.lallenproductions.co.uk/wotw.htmlenjoy

Very good indeed!!! I really liked the close-up of the burning white flag!!!!!!!
The running crowd in your clip reminded me of the walking soldiers in a certain film we've seen recently... ;D ;D

Cheers everybody, i'm glad you enjoyed it. The animation was made using 3Dsmax 5 and took about 4 weeks to complete. As I said before, this was made some time ago and my animation has vastly approved, I was thinking of putting togther another WOTW animation using Max 6, Chromonator and Effects Lab....I'll keep you posted as and when I get started on this. But if anybody has any ideas of what to include....please let me know. Cheers.

thunderchild! lol thats 1st of all. just include all the scenes that pendragon got wrong, like thunderchild (in an actual bay and a 1898 steamer) the exodus from london (big ben and all) and of corse dead london. The cam angles were great in that clip and I think you can do these scenes good.

SWEET work my friend. That kicks serious ass.
I'm okay at 3D Max, but I've never even attempted animation.
Great work once again. Keep it up.

Hey there people. Just to let you know that i've started planning the next WOTW animation. I'm not sure of how long it will take to put together yet, but it's coming along nicely. I'll keep you all updated, so keep an eye out. The red weed coming soon. Pale

THAT... WAS... AWESOME!
The camera motion is beautiful and for it's length, the renderings are superb.
Talent to a degree I only still dream of. And a marvelous CG effort!
This was a wonderful thing to watch.
