Ask at a HMV or Virgin (the Megastore that is ) and , if they don't have it they'll get it in for you.

Sorry for the late reply...the radio station goes off and on from time to time either because I'm installing something or have to restart. It's usually up 24/7 except with those instances. Last night it was down longer...had to clean up my computer. But please, for th'love of Wells listen to the station and spread it around! There's little motivation for me to keep paying for it when I only get a maximum of three listeners a day. As for content in the station, I'm always open to suggestions on what you'd like to hear and I'll load it in.

It's worth it if you like Jeff Wayne. Mind yah...some of the tracks get a little..well...boring. But most of them are great. You can listen to a lot of the songs from UllaDubUlla for free on WellsRadio. Just go to my website and click the link. This station is great, don,t care for the poor quality.

It should play on any machine that can run either Winamp, iTunes (my preferred player of choice), Real or even Windows Media player etc ...
Can you give us some information on your system, what audio program you use, any firewalls installed etc? i'm sure one of us can figure it out.

[glow=red,2,300]I'm running windows 98.. earlier today I tried again, this time it gave me more options (perhaps it was down for maintanance before?) and I clicked on windows media player. A nice little window came up looking llike it was playing but no sound at all When I closed the little window an error type message appeared saying that realplayer and windows media player were not available Maybe I need to install something new? I think you need Windows Media Player 10, if you haven't got that then it may be worth upgrading to it. Or try Winamp www.winamp.com/ winamp is free. You may need to go to "Listen settings" on the 365live page (near the top under the grey tabs) and choose 'mp3 player' in the list of players. Give that a go. Slick2097.

Ok this is where I admit my ignorence, what is this I here about hydrogen and pods? I know it must be annoying to have to explain but I have seen the 50's film, heard the origonal album and read the book, I dont know much about the expanded stuff although I have heard something about a crystal egg which i actually saw in an episode of the infinite worlds of H.G. Wells on the sci-fi chanel. Anyone else see it?

In the 'Ulladubulla' eponymous track a Martian does a monologue describing the reason for the invasion. The Hydrogen accelerator is the great cannon that fires the cylinders into space and the pods are the cylinders themselves. The Crystal Egg in Wells' story is a device with which the Martian's spy on us, basically.

It all falls into place, I think, of course it does. Has anyone else ever watched the infinite worlds of H.G. Wells? Possibly a topic for another thread but just mention it because of the egg.

[glow=red,2,300]I really enjoyed the Infinite Worlds... esp. as they didn't claim to directly make his short stories so I could let them get away with massive changes and not go into rant-mode (you should have seen me with one of the recent 20,000 leagues... the one with the love triangle! I shouted at and threw things at the tv!) In fact I hadn't read The Crystal Egg till after that part of infinite worlds and looked it up. The short story is much better than the show (much as I enjoyed it) and is arguably a glimpse of the preperations for the Martian invasion. There was also a 50's tv show that did a version of the crystal egg for one episode (see thread in general discussion section). [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]The Avatar is quite nice, but is insignificant compared to the real thing ;D And the real thing is mine, all mine ;D[/glow]

There's a bit of repetition on the CDs (mainly because some of the tracks are extended on Disc 2) but for the price of it, it's a bargain. My faves are 'ulladubulla' itself (track 3) and the remix of 'The Spirit of Man' (track 5) which is basically a vocal version of the PC and PS1 games track. Krys, go and buy the thing. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Or... have a listen on Twisted Rabbit's site, then buy it. (Nice site btw Twisted!) I don't see any links to the tracks from Ulladubulla. I'm interested in a quick listen. Not willing to spend $40+ even on eBay for unheard CD... I must be cheap! Anyplace else for excerps?
