You may or may not have heard that Marvel Comics and Sony are takign the possibilty of a Killraven movie in the next few years. I was a fan of the original Killraven/War of the World series, it was more than a simple comic, it was filled with surreal alien imagry and poetic surroundings it capyured my imagination throughout up unti those haunting final words in Issue 39 entitled "Morning Prey"
Whilst it may be debatable as to how Killraven could in all actuality fit into the War of the Worlds mythos, Killraven has become an inescapbale part of Well's story and I for one would indeed go to watch the screen adaptation, just to see if such a comic is indeed filamable.

I said a 'yes' as I think it could be a good tongue & cheek film on similar lines to LEAGUE OF EXTRADINARY GENTLEMAN.
Let's face it, anything with stomping tripods in must be a worthwhile viewing even if it's not closely associated with TWOTW.

I'd rather see a good adaptation of the book first. It's amazing and extremely annoying how Hollywood is considering making stuff like this whilst nobody's yet done Wells book justice. Instead, what do we get - Spielbergs crappy rip off and Pendragons joke. I used to have a few of these comics and I'm not knocking fans of Killraven but let's face it - the only real link with WOTW is the tripods. Kids books like Harry Potter get relatively decent adaptations made of them whilst the father of science fiction get's nothing but rubbish big budget films, cheapo films and comic book spin offs.

I'd rather see a good adaptation of the book first. Don't we all, but it appears no one in the entertainment buisness is getting off their arse to make one, so in the mean time. . . .
