I've recently (thanks to finally buying a decent computer!) discovered the joys of a wonderful service Radio 4 offers - audio streaming of old programmes. Their science section has a huge number of audio documentaries, including a three-part series about Mars. Part 1 has a mention of good old HG and WOTW, including a clip of Richard Burton's wonderful opening narration from the JW album. You can catch the series here: www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/science/redplanet.shtmlCheck out the rest of their site - I particularly recommend the two-part Scars of Evolution, a David Attenborough narrated examination of the Aquatic Ape Hypothesis. If you download the right software, you can even record them! I tried to find free software, and tried five or so, but all were rubbish and recorded nothing. If you're interested, you can try (free of charge) TotalRecorder (it makes a noise every minute to spoil the recording, but it does allow you to see if it works). To get an unadulterated version (the Standard Edition), it costs $17.95 - I would like to add that I have no connection whatsoever with TR or anyone involved, I simply found it to work (and work well!). It can be found here: www.highcriteria.com/Their comedy section is also damned good.
