Yeah... it really is a good read.
Also, the book is available, as is Scarlet Traces to buy in most good shops... with a third part of the story due out in the near future.

It's totally wonderful!! OK, you might thing the designs are not what you'd think of as ideal, but this is one of the only representations that captures the spirit of the novel. I think it's just awesome!

cool, glad to be of help to fellow wotw fans. i reckon it portrayed some graphic representations of the martians: the gravity weighing them down, one martian per machine, the way they suck the blood out, and my favorite the heat ray. at the start when they use it, there is no visible ray, just the funnel and the people burning
(which wells put "fire leapt from man to man...turned into flame at the touch of this horrible, unearthly, heat ray.")

It certainly does capture the finer points of the novel very well. I may look out for this when bonus time comes around

This is indeed a fantastic comic. Very faithful to the book. I do wish it were longer though. I would have liked to have the brother and his escapades including the exodus and the Thunder Child (these were touched on, but I would have liked more), as well as more of the travelling (it doesn't seem as though they travel very far in it as it is). I do like how they have portrayed the characters, the martians, and the tripods. I loved the dead London at the end. Excellent stuff.
