Do you guys remember this from 2004. I wonder what ever came of it. It really would be nice to see this released.

I've never seen that before but it looks quite interesting.

I think I vaguely remember something about this. The machines are a bit 'Starship Troopers' but it's great to see the mocked up photos, etc.

It's a bit hard to make out how many legs those machines have got.

I've seen more of these pics (the website is down for "renovation") and I can say that they looked very impressive! This picture is one of the more bizarre but the Machines on the other pics do have 3 legs. I remember one great picture of a Fighting machine picking up a locomotive and shooting it's Heat Ray at it. Another one is of a crowd standing next to a Heat ray generator lying on the ground.

I think I remember hearing it mentioned way back in '04... then never really heard anything else about it. I do hope it gets released sometime, as it looks interesting, and I am fond of those 'old photograph' style pics.

To answer your questions I currently have written permission from T. J. Frame - the creator of these images and designs to use them in my RPG version of War of the Worlds (Yes, I've been developing it for two years now) and during my last communication with Mr. Frame I got the distinct impression that the project is still on the go. But seeing as how the novel has to be written, and the images are in no final there may still be a fair amount of work to go.
Personally the more the better, is what I say - at least it shows it isn't a rushed out sequel like most of the crap we are dealt up.
