Anyone else got this yet? While it was nice to read it on-line, you can't beat having a physical copy to read at your leisure. Besides, with two small sprogs, the toilet is the only place i get any peace and the monitor leads not long enough...

I got it this passed Monday.
Its amazingly good when looked at in printed form - so much more clarity and depth to the images.
The only dissapointing thing is the lack of any deleted scenes of sketches at the end of the book, but rather a preview of Scarlet Traces.
Definnatly worth a buy though.

I'll just back up what Marcus says - well worth having. Ian's done a lovely job of adapting the story down to just the Journalists view of things and Matt's art is stunning - the shot of the guy looking up at the underside of the Tripod while he's in the river is worth the tenner alone.

I forgot about this too. Got to page 8 last night and it's good! I'll read some more later.

I add to what Max said - I wasn't much a fan of the tripod design when I first saw it in Scarlet Traces, but when you see it in this graphic novel, and its in the books situations you realise the true simplistic beauty of the design.
Amazing.
