I cant seem to find the infamous "face" there though. No reason you *should* be able to find it. That was a trick of light and shadow, plus just the right resolution. Slightly more or less detail, or taken with the shadows at different angles, and the illusion disappears. Or, y'know, the CIA/NSA/Illuminati/Trilateral Commission/New World Order/Men in Black doctored the photos. ;D

The face is there. It's not a very clear picture but still... Just type "face" in the search tab.

Have I done something wrong, or does the face just look like some craters?

But the only thing, most of it looks exacly the same. Is there any other noticable features of Mars apart from the face and Olympus Mons?

There's the Valles Marineris (Mariner Valley). In the commentary from the "Blues for a Red Planet" episode of "Cosmos", Carl Sagan said that the USA's Grand Canyon would be lost in one of its branches. I guess Mons Olympus isn't all that dramatic 'cuz atho it's very high, the sides are not steep. A fairly gentle slope up. But if you find any pics of the crystal cities that Bradbury and Piper talk about in their stories, please post the link!

There is really no need to put the ( ) at the end of your question. By doing this people will assume you are being sarcastic and won't reply.
