I got to thinking, Jawad said the first 15 mins of the movie were going to be very exciting did he not? Do you think it is possible, that the story may be like a sequal to WOTW? Maybe thats were the cells come from? Maybe it shows the first invasion happening, and explains why these cells are here? Probably not, but it could be very very cool if it happened that way.

I'd like to see a very dramatic and harrowing first 15 mins ala the shock value of the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan. Something that grabs you by the seat of your pants and throws you headlong into the rest of the film.

I wouldn't be terribly upset if the 'cells' were a remnant of the original invasion. But it's still a bit 'Quatermass and the Pit'. Ah well. I daresay though, that I shall watch it and enjoy it for what it is. I'm prepared to leave prejudices at the door of the cinema and any similarities with the book will be a bonus. I too want to see a bleak opening.. lots of shocks and terror. The darker it is, the happier I'll be.

if they are interdimensional I hope they come from an alternate universe where HG wells WotW was real, and in there defeat they came to our time and place
