I think that Danish toy giant LEGO should jump on the War of the Worlds bandwagon. I think they'd make another killing like they did with Star Wars.
Martian Fighting Machine Martian Handling Machine Human Cavalry Human Artillery The Thunderchild The House and the Cylinder
You could have a blast! I'd buy 'em and I'm 28! But I like LEGO anyway! ;D

I think that Danish toy giant LEGO should jump on the War of the Worlds bandwagon. I think they'd make another killing like they did with Star Wars. LEGO allegedly has gotten out of the licencing biz, this isn't to say however that one couldn't do the design work, with their virtual lego sets, and then put out the instruction sets and parts lists on your own...

[glow=red,2,300]War of the Worlds lego is an awesome idea.
Can you still order specific lego pieces by mail order? Otherwise obtaining all the parts needed once someone has a working design could be more than a little expensive. It'd be great to have a bunch of lego tripods.. Jeff Wayne's, Pendragons, Spielbergs etc.
Would you just use the lego octopus as a martian or could someone design one? [/glow]
