Wow that's good! Closest thing we've seen to a Martian yet (at least to my knowledge). I like the way SS has made the initial landing/contact happen out in the countryside rather than an urban area. Makes it congruent with the book.

Easy, I'm impatient and can't wait to find out what Spielberg's Martians/tripods/cylinders look like.

I like it. . . But who has actually confirmed its either 1/ for the film 2/ fan art. . . Either way it looks good and gives a impression of what could be done.

Have you guys ever seen movie graphics that are not yet finished? It could easily be mistaken for unfinished graphincs from the movie.

If you're expecting cylinders in the SS version, prepare to be disapointed Have you all forgotten the tag line to the film? ''They are already here''

'They're already here' really still does not mean 'no cylinders'

If they are already here why would they need to travel here in cylinders?
All the clips I've seen have them coming from underground plus SS has already said they are not Martians.

If you look at the new trailer you can actually see something going through the Bayonne bridge like a missile or a cylinder.
I recon the underground part was a sign that the Aliens were about to arrive.
