Does anyone know where I can find a 1950's review of The War of the Worlds movie?

If you mean an online review of the '50s movie: check out the "editorial review" at Amazon.com, or the reviews at RottenTomatoes.com.
If you mean a review published at the time of the movie's release: Visit your local library and look up newspaper reviews on microfilm. IMDb.com lists release dates as "13 August 1953 (New York City, New York)" and "26 August 1953". I presume that means the premiere was in New York City on the earlier date. Those dates should help you locate newspaper reviews.

I was looking for reviews at the time of release in the 1950's. Is there anywhere online I could find those reviews copied into a web page?

I doubt it. Newspapers do not make their archives publically avaliable online. Certain newspapers have a service where you can pay a monthly fee to access archives, but unless you're willing to pay a stiff fee, just visit your local library.
Not everything is available online.
