You never know. Maybe it was used at a convention. I'll have to see if I can find the article. It was about Les Edwards but I can't remember what that illustration was done for. It might have been for the book but I don't think I've seen it as the books cover anywhere.

"Intersection" was the name of the 1995 World Science Fiction Convention ("WorldCon"), held in Glasgow, Scotland. That may be a shot of the cover of the convention's program book.

Oh, and I see Les Edwards was one of the Intersection guests of honor, which makes almost certain this is from that convention.
