Shifting through some boxes on the market full of music cassettes I was able to find the rare and long deleated album by 'Ben Liebrand' - STYLES, done in 1990.
Ben was responsible for the brilliant 'The Eve Of The War' remix in December of 1989, taken from Jeff Wayne's album.
Here is a run down of the tracks on the album released by Epic/CBS
1/ Intro Styles 2/ Puls(t)ar 3/ The Eve Of The War (taken from TWOTW) 4/ Move To The Music 5/ Spanish Jam 6/ I Wish 7/ A Love Come True 8/You're No Good 9/ Overture In C Minor - Opus 29 10/ Pump Up The Bass 11/ Give Me An Answer 12/ For The Love Of The Music 13/ Mankind Strikes Back (taken from TWOTW) 14/ Puls(t)sar Remix - Bonus Track

I haven't played the 12'' of the Ben Liebrand remix for many years but I remember 'Mankind Strikes Back' being the B Side (I think). I'm sure that that track despite it's title is nothing to do with WotW.

Is Puls(t)ar a version of the Vangelis track (from Albedo 0.39)- I think used or ripped off as the music for Think Of A Number with Johnny Ball in the '80s?

'Mankind Strikes Back' is from 'The Eve Of The War' - it's the opening orchestral sound sampled and played back in a differant chord pattern.
Yeppers, Pus(t)sar is the classic Vangalis synth track 'Pulsar'.

Your spot on there, without doubt, the worst sampled WOTW sounds done - so far ;D
