Anyone remember the ezboard forum called The War of the Worlds Forums? p211.ezboard.com/bthewaroftheworldsforumsLong ago in another time it was one of the first WOTW forums. I was "Chris AB" the moderator. Looking back on it now...lousy template style and title image! But the War Machine buttons are a good idea...though not done very well. Did anyone here use to post there?

[glow=red,2,300]Man that takes me back.
So Chris AB was you twistedrabbit?
Wow that makes you and I the 'old skool' of WotW net forums.
It was a great place (esp. the idea of the online rpg!)but suffered from infrequent postage. I mourned greatly its death but thankfully eventually found this place. This place used to have only one or two posts a week too once. My how its grown now!

Tell me about it I remember when moderating this forum meant checking once a week to see if anyone had posted. I'm glad I chose proboards as the host, it's dealt really well with the masses of poeple coming. Just so you all know, www.waroftheworldsonline.com received it's biggest amount of unique visitors the other day. 10,000 people.

i dont wanna bust your bubble rob, but most of those visitors were probably spider-bots scouring the web for search engines. we get those all the time at my main boards
although, that many bots is a result of a lot of traffic so thats a good thing
edit: oh, i thought you were talking about visitors to the forums. 10,000 at the main site... thats great man
