My wife asked to borrow my Orsan Welles broadcast today which I thought odd, until she told me that one of the teachers at the school where she works was interested in using it in class to listen to. They are reading the War of the worlds as part of literature! She said it was mainly American literature which is why she was surprised. I thought as long as it is made known that H.G.Wells was an English author and not American!

I remember taking the Jeff Wayne musical on cassette to school but it was never played. Instead it was Romeo and Juliet...........can't risk the possibility of psychological damage. Fear breeds respect......we can't have that!
