Here are a couple of maps I scanned from a Study Guide to WOTW:

Being an Aussie too, I know how you feel commandingtripod. I would love to visit the area and see it all firsthand. My parents went over to the UK a couple of years ago and I tried to get them to go to Woking and Horsell Common and take some happy snaps for me. Do you think they did it? Seems the Martians had an affinity for the Thames given their crash sites. Perhaps it was their plan to choke it up with red weed?

Thanks for that mctoddridesagain.
All I knew originally was where the first cylinder landed. The map helps me understand the book a lot better. ;D
I'd also love to see the landing areas first hand.
Thanks once again

I hope that study guide is out of its copyright period and in the public domain, because I would never want to encourage anyone to violate copyright.
That said, I do thank you very much for posting that! I tried to make my own map, but could not locate all the place names even on the period map I have of the area surrounding London.
I think I'll print out a copy of the cylinder landing locations and insert it into my paperback of WotW.

Your OK as long as you use it for your OWN personal use.

uh huh, but its also ok if you just use it for reference, as long as you refer to where you got the material from

Like anyone gives a damn about copyright in this day and age. ;D

I think it's out of print at the moment. Plus it's published by Pearson, and they can stick their copyright where the sun don't shine. Plus what H_C said.
