Occasionally ,You can find a really cool set of 4 sheets of War Machine blueprints out here on the Net.I was wondering how practical it would be if some of us got together via the WWW and created our own set for online reference? We would need someone with a good eye for line drawings and figure scale.

Well, Krys.. this link (from within yours) might be more useful (it goes straight to the machine in question)... www.smileylich.com/sfb/ssd/wow-mfwm.gifLooks like an RPG thingy based on a 1953 War Machine. Unless I'm much mistaken most of the craft on that site are from the Star Trek universe. Anybody know what Krys has found here?

I looked at that. It seems like all they did was gut a martian machine and stuff it with Star trek technology. It is in no way the interior of a martian machine. Just one persons opinion.
On another note I actually found a set of the Matian blueprints at a comic con one year. heh. nonetheless they followed me home. ;D

Almost, but not quite. It is apparently a Martian War Machine addapted to the Star Trek board game called Star Fleet Battles.

[shadow=red,left,300]So, who's nerdy enough to work up more acurate specs for a War Machine to use... er... for gaming or the tech thrill??? [/shadow]

Well it seems to be from a Star Trek RPG.
I haven't actually got the Star Trek RPG (way too many books) but I have got others and it seems to match the RPG criteria to a tee

I am currently having a crack at a set myself. I am a little rusty at the old pen and paper method, but thought they would look better that way. As the subject matter is rarely seen in plan form in the movie, and I have no access to the TV series (esp. the pilot episode, and the episode where a machine is dug up and the Heat Ray mounted on a hearse). Anyone with pictures that they can send me would be V. helpful. Also, close ups of the Heat Ray focus aperture from the series would help.
