I just got hold of series and watching now

I have just got hold of series 1 and am starting to watch now i'm 49 mins in and its great the old music that cult cheesy feel about it the x files feel to it but more horror based ...It is a very very good copy and it's gonna take a while to get through iwatched it only once when it was screened in early 90's I am 24 now so when watching again I am seeing so much more than what I remembered what a show!

Hi ...yeah I have just finished watching the episode Epiphany..when they have to stop the nuclear device from detonating in the van...I will get through it soon the rest of the episodes ..the series so far is good i like the alien comedy ..but the fact is the acting a bit dry and the falsness shows the laungage of the aliens is very good but as the series goes on war of the worlds element fades and you forget about the warships etc the only reminder is the title sequence.

I have never seen this series.....I hadn't heard of it until I accidentley found it on a search engine when I was looking for a WOTW Ebook, Is it good? Because bits of it looked cheesey (This coming from a DW fan)

Incidently Dalekhunter are you a DW fan? (If that isn't a dumb question!)

Yes I am mate! big time I am very much a doctor who fan...I can't wait for the new series and there was meant to be a trailer on bbc one last night...but it was a false alarm, my best friends are making a convention for september in swansea it's gonna be great with a great line up anyway ..I am a wotw fan aswell but not like doctor who my wotw fascination is due to the fact that it's a great story...The series is good and if you like sci fi it's the one for you ..they are very very hard to get hold of and I am lucky to have a full intact series

Yeah im stoked about the new series too, pitty about the new logo, but it all looks very cool.

You are lucky to have the complete series of WOTW, is it on VCD and how many discs is it?

It is 5 dvd's not vcd and the copys are excellent no sound distortion or anything and pic quality great ...for an 80's early 90's show.

I cannot aford the entire series as I am too poor at the moment but I have been trying to build it up....I recieved my copy of 'An Unearthly Child' and thought it was 'swinging' (Thats a joke I don't say swinging) soon 'The Daleks' will be coming and I can't wait......sorry this has gone off-topic!
