I pitty it that the serie has never been showed on Dutch TV. But I don't think its very good if I look at the foto's.
I only have this question how do the Martians look in the serie some say they look like the film version. But the only thing i've seen of them is theyre hands and the remains of them after they have taken over a Human(pretty discusting I must say).

The Otto's inthe tv show were pretty simular to the movie Otto.
The series was fairly good,esp the first episode which had the Manta-Ray craft being discovered in a warehouse and re-activated and flown by those pesky martians.
Also Ann Robinson returned in a few shows,so there was a good connection to the movie...The bad part is the second series was so far removed from the movie and the first series...What a waste!.

Hi Tripod,
As far as I know these series were aired some time ago on Dutch television. A few years ago I borrowed some tapes from a friend. These tapes contained the entire TWOTW series that a friend of that friend (still following it? ;D) taped from TV...
But after seeing two episodes I desided the serie was crap and returned to my friend...

It's worth seeing the series at least once...Esp the first episode to see the Manta-Rays in action.

I taped some of the episodes of the series in the past.
Most of the episodes are really nonsens of the bad style, but some had very interesting ideas.
Tripod, maybe I could make copies of the episodes I have and mail it to you ?! But I´m not sure if that´s fine to you, because the episodes are in german language....

or u could just do a search and download them off the net, I've downloaded the first 2 episodes over the last few days. My verdict is: watchable with interesting ideas, but theres something about old tv shows tht make me cringe
