What do the Martians look like in this?

Just some idle curiosity - I'm sure I remember seeing a still where C Thomas was examining the body of a dead martian, and it was a blue thing with a triangular head that looked like a cross between one of those washed up dead squid from Arthur C. Clarkes mysterious world and a crashed kite.

Seemed only to have four tentacles as I recall.

Looking forward to seeing this somewhere along the line, I must say...
