If you could ask questions, any sort of questions to Tom Cruise or Stephen Spielberg what would you ask or want to say to them?

Similar sort of question really... What was the thought process that made you think ''War of the Worlds is an excellent story, lets totally change it''

I would have asked either of them of if they ever had read the novel or saw the 1953 movie. Or asked ss of when he first thought of the idea of making a movie based on the novel. Also ask if was true that during the filming of it this version was originally going to be titled "Out of the Night" and why this name, is strange title for a movie like wotw.(I read that yesterday when i was going through some threads going back to sept of 04). Maybe I would ask of Tom if that mustang is one of his real cars that he owns, Lol I bet he owns over a hundred cars by now. Also I would ask ss where he got the minivan and why he chose a mini-van, plus ask him why he deleted scenes, like one where Ray and his kids are going through some town where there is some army of 10 or more tripods and one is searching through some house. I seen some of it on the eve forum but i cannot remember where in there i saw it, I think there is another deleted sequence where Ray goes to some bar and it takes plus just after he leaves his work site, I saw one shot of it on that same thread in the eve forum. And I would ask spielberg of if he considered other areas of the usa or even other countries and why he chose new jersey and surrounding areas. Maybe I would suggestions of ways I that i would have made the movie or ask if he thinks he could have done better and If there might be a sequel to it someday.

i would ask SS what the gradual transformation over the years from 'great original director' to 'sellout' felt like
i would ask TC for a refund of the price i paid for my movie ticket
