It appears the trailer has been updated, as it originally never had that tripod shot in it. Also the whole wrecked plane spoof has been removed from the trailer.

It's quite surreal to see SFX of that nature in Scary Movie. But now I know we get tripods, as opposed to iPods... im quite looking forward to seeing this It should be a good laugh

That really doesnt look like a bad tripod really, it actaully looks closer to the book then the one in the SS film

I am honest too, I really like the design of the legs, pretty Wellsian. Though the heat ray is ugh, but we can expect cocaine jokes in it

Agreed. It does have nice legs. Other tripods would probably find it very attractive. (Sorry, couldn't resist ;D)
