I for one Like the movie.
No I am not a "yes" man.
I like it because I like Spielbergs Interpretation of Wells novel put into modern times.
This is after all, just a movie.
Take it for entertainment value.
Take for a good escape for a couple of hours. (No "I'll never get those two hours back" retorts please)
If you didn't like it don't slam Speilberg for his vision.
Applaude him for showing us his vision.
Just my opinion.

A nice straightforward view of the film Perhaps you might in future consider posting your film reviews in the "POST ALL REVIEWS HERE" (loud capital letters) section, lol KR

I think the worst point of the movie is that is not a modern interpretation of well´s work: Is a totally diferent story

SS made a get movie for all of us and War of the worlds is the best movie that he made.

SS made a get movie for all of us and War of the worlds is the best movie that he made. Hmm... Not sure about it being his best film. I saw ET this weekend and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind the week before and thought, in my opinion, that they were both much better.

Agreed, and throw a few extra one's in there such as "Saving Private Ryan", "Schindlers List", "Jaws",and his first feature film "Duel".
