The film only won one award: best child actor for Dackota Fanning. The other awards were: Best Villan: Ian Mcdirmid/Papltine Man of the Year: Mickey Rourke/ Sin City Best Film: Batman Begins news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/4390058.stmas voted by the masses. |

Any child can scream their head off for an hour or two if it means free Ben 'n' Jerry's at the end of each take  Well done Ian...well deserved win. The best actors are Brits, of course ;D |

War of the Worlds may have won best action sequence of the year for the ferry scene. It was nominated, but we will only find out on November 3rd.

I second that motion.
Since when has screaming that loud and that much: a)been dramatic? b)healthy for the screamer? c)been put in a film without a health warning? d)had any point at all?
Well done to Mickey Rourke and Ian McDairmid. At least you DESERVE your awards.
Batman Begins also deservs best movie. It far outstrips SSWotW as a film, as a Blockbuster, and as a decent use of my time.
(Best child actor? How many child actors have been in major movies this year? It's just a lack of options!)
