My father is a great Jazz fan, and he's really into a singer called Micheal Bublé. In WotW you hear a song just before the Ferry scene the singer reminded me of Bublé. Do you guys know which song this was and if it actually was sung by Micheal Bublé?

It's "If I Ruled The World", sounds like Tony Bennett singing the song, but i could be wrong.

. . . . and the song you can hear very faintly in the back ground, being sung by those clinging to the Ferry as it's being turned over is "Nearer My God To Thee".

I think it was meant to bring the same message across as the song "the sun and I" (don't kow if that's the right title) in the Pendragons movie. Liked the Pendragon's song better though...

Poor choice of song in my opinion. Very tactless, considering the circumstances.
Irony aside, for an ultra realistic film thats the lastsong I'd choose in the middle of an alien invasion and for people currently on the run from blood sucking martians. May as well have played, REM tracks.
