I thought they could include a section where you can listen to the music and just watch the tour cgi film thingy. Tide us over until the film is released.
Any other ideas?

I've asked JWM before about a CGI only option but I'm told that, unfortunately, it probably won't be happening partly due to lack of space for it on the discs (the DVD will likely be a 2 disc release, btw) I do know of four documentaries that are to be included as extras on the DVD and I'll be posting on this, and some other JW updates, soon.

Thanks Nerf! You and your "connections" don't half come in handy at times. Shame about the cgi only option. I take it bunging in a third disc is out of the question then lol.

I guess so.. mainly because it would push the price of the thing up. I will post some stuff soon but I haven't had the time to put it all together. I'll make time to post a few bits of news sometime this week.

I'll glady pay whatever price they charge! You can never have enough discs! I mean, the seven-disc collection of the album wasn't badly priced... id gladly pay a bit extra for a third disc

Here's a little more DVD news for you all. NOTE; some of this may be subject to change and the final lineup is yet to be announced...
The DVD, as everyone will know, is to be released on November 6th 2006 and it is likely to feature 2 discs in the set.
The first disc will feature the Tour itself and it will have language subtitles available.
Disc 2 will be the 'Extras' disc and we can tell you of four items that are likely to feature on it. There is an exclusive interview with Jeff Wayne, an inside look at the bluescreen 'cannon' scene and Carrie's appearances, a look at how Richard Burton was 'brought back to life' to make the role of The Journalist his own once more and another piece in which we see how the huge onstage Fighting Machine was built.
I will, as always keep you updated and give out the final lineup as soon as possible.
