EDIT-
I have been asked, for various reasons, to remove any unofficial images from the show for now and request that people refrain from putting their own pics up whilst the tour is running. I gather there will be some hi quality official pics soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

My goodness, this looks fantastic, that model is absolutely stunning. And if the CGI images on that screen are any indicator of a fraction of how good the film is going to look, then we are in for something special indeed.
Roll on Friday and Tuesday.

I've only seen small clips of the CGI, but if that is anything to go by, it will be amazing!

I went to the Dress Rehearsal last night.. and yeah! He`s a big fella! I was a little concerned when I saw the funnel pointing out into the audience as the Heat Ray looked as if it directly pointed at me. Very intimidating! Especially when he decides to move. The eyes also change colour to Red during Dead London, and if moves to a position which looks limp and lifeless.. very well made.. I spoke to Jeff after the show at the meet and greet and he told me it was about 4 tons in weight. and that gets transported between every gig, so after tonight at the BIC, he gets taken down, moved to Brighton for the day, then back to Bournemouth again. You gotta feel sorry for those poor Roadies!

The preview trailor that myself and Nerfy have seen shows some truly stunning images. The 45 second preview gives more credit to the story than Hollywoods past 5 decades of attempts.
Interesting photo, though you can't get the right feel from a photo as you can being there, but I am concerned that the FM is too large for the stage and looking at the image, it appears to hamper to much of the screen behind making it uneasy to see.

H_C, I think the problem you mention with the FM only applies to the smaller venues - places like the Albert Hall & NEC and so on, should get the full effect without to much obscurity

The eyes also change colour to Red during Dead London, and if moves to a position which looks limp and lifeless.. So to quote from the albums narration "Erect and motionless like the other's . . "Sounds like Marvin the Martian could do with some Viagra.

Sorry, no more photos people. We will have to wait until we can get official ones, which should be soon.

They were testing the movement of it when we were being let into the main hall before it started. From the noises it was making sounded like it was all pistons and stuff. What I can tell you is a couple of bits Jeff said to me at the meet and greet. The FM is adjustable for different venues, and weighs about 4 tons! So we`re talking some pretty heavy machinery there! When you go on Saturday, have a look at the legs and you`ll see they`re not fully extended on the BIC stage. I didn`t take a pic of them, but the claw feet on them were pretty cool!
