I know that Asylum's War of the Worlds is available for purchase from Amazon, and Asylum's website also has a link for anyone wanting to purchase the movie. Is this movie only available for purchase online? Does anyone know of any U.S. stores that either are carrying or will carry this movie, such as Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, etc.?
Incidentally, I noticed in other threads that Asylum made sure that various War of the Worlds websites received copies of this movie for review, before the June 28 release date. I realize that this is supposed to be a fairly low budget production that it intended to 'ride the coat tails' of the Speilberg/Cruise production, but I think releasing the movie to reviewers shows a high degree of professionalism which I don't think is common in 'low budget' movies. (Mind you, I haven't read the reviews yet since I am trying to avoid spoilers. But I am looking forward to seeing this movie and hearing what other people say about it!)

I'm sure I read somewhere that it might be available at Blockbuster and other places too. The thing I like about Asylum is that they are willing to talk to the fans about their movie. David Latt, the director, has been spotted on these boards, and his people were very open to talking to us when we approached them. I wish every film company was the same.
