But for some strange reason I suspect that if Pendragon had gotten Big Ben and Parlamant wrong, you wouldn't have shrugged it off as casually as you do here. Actually they did ;D

I haven't had a chance to look through the photos, but I'm aware of the possible similarities--the parson character, what may be the ruined house, now DC possibly the attack point.
The Asylum WOTW could turn out to be the most faithful updated version. Can anyone ID the city on the DVD cover?

As someone who has been trained in the film industry the simple answer to that question is: films deal with fantasy, so what if we get it a little wrong. As long as it looks good... Surely they could have got something as simple as a straight on shot right though?

Dunno, maybe they felt that having the Washington Monument right in front of the Capitol in the distance didn't look right composition-wise? Having had a look at some images on t'internet of the Capitol behind the Monument, I'd say it's not ideal for the kind of panoramic shot they did, better to space them out.

Rusti, you are beginning to scare me. I was willing to give a little support Asylum because they are honest hacks and expolitation film makers unlike some others who shall be nameless.... but you actually seem to be taking this quickie, straight to DVD, cash in on another film just a little too seriously.

Looks like a three legged tripod to me... As opposed to a tripod with how many legs..... (Sorry couldn't resist - in a pedantic mood this morning! ;D)

I had my doubts about this version. Though that pic is quite beautiful and wel done. (not that wanton distruction is beautiful) If the rest of the fil looks that good i may be able to overlook the 3 extra legs. as long as i don't take it too seriously.

Just treat it as you would with ID4, a fun summer flick. We shouldn't take these films too seriously, they're only artistic endeavours at the end of the day.
